Health & Safety

The health and safety of all course attendees is of paramount importance, particularly during this time. Please read the following carefully to understand the steps and measure we are taking here, and what we are asking of all attendees.

I am limiting my group size to only a max of 6 couples to allow for social distancing.

Plus I’m sending this info to all who book in and have had a very good response of co-operation.

I wish to extend my concern for your health and safety. With the recent fears growing around the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) I find it appropriate to reach out and inform you of the measures I’m taking to insure I’m doing all I can to keep your antenatal class sessions, the safest I can.

I’m sure you are familiar with antibacterial hand dispensers, I have provided a few around the venue for your use when you are here, feel totally welcome to use them anytime you feel the need.

I have taken additional measures to ensure these are constantly monitored and refilled as required.

My staff have been informed of new procedures to ensure all common areas are kept sanitised. This includes regularly disinfecting all areas including the entrance, the bathroom, door handles, table tops and surfaces.I have also provided a fresh clean towel in the bathroom which is regularly replaced with a clean fresh sanitised towel. I have also provided paper towels as a single use option to enable all attendees to wash and dry their hands thoroughly and frequently in the bathroom.

This is obviously a public health concern and while we can be as proactive as possible, ultimately we all need to be cautious and respectful to each other.

I will continue to closely monitor advice and recommendations from government and health organisations. The important precautions to use with respect to other course attendees is to use a tissue when needed for coughing or sneezing and then dispose of it immediately in the bin provided, please also cover the face if a cough occurs and then wash hands. We shall refrain from hand shakes which can be replaced with other friendly, welcoming, respectful gestures of your choice. Feel welcome to inform others in your session if you think of any other measures which may increase safety.

In turn, I ask that if you are showing any flu-like symptoms, feel unwell, have any concern or have been exposed to anyone who has been infected by the COVID-19 virus, whether by a child attending a school where someone has tested positive, or have visited a relative in a nursing home where there has been a positive case that you deter coming to the course and contact me to reschedule or alternatively book an individual course session with no other participants in attendance.

If you have any doubt as to whether you are okay to attend on the morning of your booked session please visit a qualified doctor in a medical centre for clearance prior to attendance and inform me.
