Calm Mindful Birth - Part of Combination Antenatal Birth Course Sydney

calm mindful birth

The New Mindful Birth Course by Julie explains the belief that woman can experience birth through the natural flow and rhythm of their labouring body; to release birthing over to their mind and body and to trust their body to function as it was intended to.

These are the courses midwives bring their own partners to truly prepare them in the easiest, most positive way, so they know what to do and say during labour.

TRANSITION INTO PARENTHOOD

Julie’s Transition into Parenthood antenatal course covers all labour and birth support strategies, practicalities for women and their partners; “must know” facts and “how to” aspects of birthing and babies.

Our focus is on looking after a little newborn baby during the first 12 weeks in a very positive way. Being able to read the baby’s body language and their variety of cry “signals” helps parents-to-be feel they can trust their intuition and look forward to getting to know their baby.

If you don’t know Julie, are you even really Pregnant?
Julie was recommended by so many friends, it was a hard force to ignore.
Since attending Julie’s calmbirth course, I still hear of people who know her from their older children who are now in their teens!).
Julie has a strong reputation for a reason and it truly shows. Not only is Julie knowledgeable, but also patient and very giving of herself and insights so you get the best experience for your situation.
Couldn’t recommend Julie highly enough!

We had such a positive experience with Julie in the 3 days we spent with her learning about birthing and how amazing our body is. Feeling far more at ease about the upcoming process, and doing our best to not listen to the negative experiences from friends, and focusing on welcoming this new bubba in a safe and positive way.

Must admit hubby was a sceptic, and is now converted to a more natural process (if possible of corse) and is super supportive and so knowledgeable that he is reminding me of the relaxation points and helping me when I have my moments of discomfort or anxiety. Such a wonderful help!

Thanks Julie, See you for your mumma bubba breakfast walks once bub arrives 🙂

We did both courses with Julie (Transition to Parenting and Calmbirth). They were the reason we were able to have a safe, natural and calm start to our new family. I felt so afraid of childbirth itself before we signed up - something she taught us increases your experience of pain, so we learnt how to keep the pain of childbirth to a minimum, and in the end I didn't even need paracetamol. It was fine - and all thanks to the skills and referrals she made for us. It was wonderful. i'm so grateful. Thank you

We did both of Julie's classes and feel so much more prepared. She has been fantastic through the entire process and created an environment where we felt welcomed, comfortable and nurtured. Wish these classes were the norm for all expecting families. Thank you Julie, look forward to sharing our birth story with you in the near future.

After My Husband and I went along to Julie's Class we were both very calm and totally ready for every aspect of our labour and parenthood. It would have been a totally different experience without all the knowledge and confidence she instilled in us! We new what to expect and we were fearless!
We wish to thank Julie for putting our nervous little souls at ease! Great program!
