Two Saturday Condensed Course

For parents-to-be who prefer weekend courses. This course is a condensed version of the six week course covering birth and baby care. Covering the final three months of pregnancy, labour stages, what to reasonably expect during labour, active birth options and positions, women's self-help strategies, the role of partners involvement and support, best use of facilities both at home and at the hospital (birth centre and delivery suite) and many more important topics such as when to go to hospital, what to pack, comfort measures for labour.  The course will also cover: caring for baby during the first twelve weeks; feeding, sleep and settling, bathing, what to buy, safe sleeping, reasons babies cry and many more important tips to reduce stress for new parents during the newborn period. calmbirth® course

This wonderful course imparts the knowledge of birth preparation techniques such as relaxation, visualisation, calm breathing, positive imagery, attitudes/expectancy to achieve a rewarding easier, more comfortable birthing experience.  calmbirth® women and their partners are free of the fear that causes tension and pain.  The combination of these two courses is an excellent way to prepare without doubling up on information as each course is unique, yet complementary to the other.  For more info on the calmbirth course...
