Trying to decide if you need to do one or both courses?

Whether it's your first, second or subsequent baby there is no doubt doing both courses is the best way to prepare. That's why Julie offers adiscount of $50 to $100 for the combined booking.

The two courses do not repeat each other, but they do complement and mesh together brilliantly. calmbirth® is ideal emotional preparation, and the Transition into Parenthood course focuses on practicalities of labour and looking after a newborn. Both courses combined will provide you with the most thorough preparation and a great discount combo booking price. It's probably best to do the calmbirth® course first, as it's recommended to do it earlier rather than later, to have plenty of time to practise therelaxation breathing. This weekday course is suitable for those who are able to attend during the week, perhaps in later pregnancy once you've finished work and have some time on maternity leave and/or school mums (refreshers). Quite often, this is the course which women will come to without their partners if they are trying to fit in a calmbirth course and it's perfectly fine to come along with or without your partner... but if you're wondering if most women bring their partners to the daytime weekday calmbirth course, it's no, usually not. That doesn't mean they're not welcome, they certainly are... and if they can make only one session that's fine too.

Easy Travel? calmbirth course to suit rural country visitors to Sydney

Daytime calmbirth course held during the week, on two consecutive days, especially suits visitors from all over Australia who wish to travel to Sydney to have the opportunity to attend the calmbirth course in an affordable way. calmbirth® Sylvania is only 20 mins south of Sydney airport and very nearby is a reasonably priced comfortable motel for ease and convenience.

It would be a simple matter of straight off the plane, collect your bag, catch a taxi ($45) to Sylvania for course day one, Julie can transport you to the nearby motel at no charge and collect you the following morning, after you've enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. When the course is completed in the early afternoon taxi return trip to the airport and you be back home that evening to sleep in your own bed again. You will have received the full calmbirth course, including the course notes and two CD's to retain and use at home, all within a reasonable time and cost, so there is no need for our country cousins to miss out.
