Melissa Maimann is an eligible midwife providing Medicare-rebatable midwifery care. As well as well as home birth, Melissa offers a unique model of care which combines midwifery care with Specialist Obstetric back-up. This exciting, brand-new model emphasises natural birth (waterbirth included) while also having the opportunity of knowing the obstetrician who may be called if needed at any stage of your pregnancy or birth. We support VBAC, twin and breech births.
Care builds and affirms a woman's confidence in pregnancy and birth. Melissa's approach is tailored to each client, with a flair for evidence-based and practical care and advice.
Care is provided privately and we take our time addressing the things that matter to you. Pregnancy consultations are provided in my comfortable Bexley clinic. Medicare funding brings significant cost savings to make this service most affordable.
Melissa encourages women to book-in at 4-5 weeks of pregnancy as bookings are limited each month. Care is provided through pregnancy, birth (at home or in hospital), through to 6 weeks postnatally.
